The Evangelical Party replaced the Church of England as the current Church of America, and now rules at the right hand of Trump and the GOP, the modern sociopathic version of King George and his Court.  

We fought a Revolutionary War to free ourselves from a monarch and his church in 1776, only to surrender that freedom from theocratic domination in 2016 when they annointed Trump as their Messiah and President for life.
 
The Evangelical Party has morphed from a cult-like, right-wing extremist religion to become the political campaign arm of the GOP, with their 'Christian Nationalists' forming the violent, militaristic enforcement arm of the Trump campaign.
 
More than a half-century of their lies have convinced millions of Americans that we were founded as a Christian nation, in spite of the clear message sent by our Founding Fathers that we must protect our democracy from that very real threat, by writing in the First Amendment to the Constitution the 'Establishment Clause', and clarified by Thomas Jefferson in 1802 that America built a “wall of separation between the church and state”.   Jefferson was joined by James Madison in arguing that compelling citizens to support, through taxation, a faith they did not follow, violated their right to religious liberty.
 
This liberty, enjoyed for more than 200 years, is now denied to us by the Evangelical Party and GOP by using tax dollars to support a religion most Americans do not favor, that pays no taxes, and isn't accountable for the vast amount of money they spend on supporting one political party, in its unrelenting attack on Constitutional rights.
 
A vote for these 'above-the-law', Democracy-hating, pro-gun predators is a vote to destabilize America with endless mass shootings, and then replace the Constitution with their Bible.   Their so-called 'Christianity' is the same psychological weapon of fear used to dominate and control countries and cultures around the world for centuries.
